Consideration and signature of Resolution #2013-109 transfer of appropriation in the Deschutes County
Public Health Fund.

BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
Consideration of Resolution #2013-109. The Personnel category in the Public Health Fund will be
decreased by $88,735 (1.00 FTE). The FY 2014 budget included this position in the Public Health
Fund, but it has since been detennined it should be included in the Behavioral Health Fund.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
A transfer of appropriation from Personnel to Contingency for $88,735 is required.
RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval and signature of Resolution #2013-109.

Deschutes County Budget and Directing Entries *
WHEREAS, attached is a request from the Public Health Department requesting a transfer of
appropriations, and
WHEREAS it is necessary to transfer appropriations within the Deschutes County Budget to
accommodate the request; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That the following transfers of appropriations be made:

This appropriation transfer removes 1.0 fte of a Behavioral Health Specialist II in our school based health centers in Fund
259 -Public Health. It has been determined that this fte should reside within Fund 275 -Behavioral Health. An
additional appropriation transfer to add the fte to Fund 275 will follow.
