Consideration of Approval of County Administrator Signature of Document No. 2013-639, Amending
an Intergovernmental Agreement with ODOT regarding the CAD Communications System.

BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
Deschutes County 9-1-1 applied and received a grant with ODOT to create a Dispatch to Dispatch
center interface between Deschutes County, the State Police and ODOT which will then go out to the
other 9 Central Oregon counties. This MOLT was created to allow Deschutes County 9-1-1 to submit
reimbursments to ODOT for payment of work. This amendment it so modify the dates to accurately
reflect the project.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
The cost associated with this agreement are budgeted reimbursements from the State of Oregon.

for Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) communications.
Background &History: Orginal project started in 2007 to apply for grants to create
an interface between Deschutes 9-1-1, Oregon State Police, Oregon Department of
Transportaion and nine other Central Oregon counties. This interface allows the
automated transmision of emergency communications data between centers to allow for
better response to emergency situations.

INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT 28095
Oregon 9-1-1 Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) Interconnect
Deschutes County; 9-1-1 Service District
The State of Oregon, acting by and through its Department of Transportation,
hereinafter referred to as "State," and the Deschutes County 9-1-1 Service District,
acting by and through its elected officials, hereinafter referred to as "Agency," entered
into an Agreement on March 29, 2012. Said Agreement covers work for enhancements
to the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) Systems for Deschutes, Hood River and Wasco
Counties.
It has now been determined by State and Agency that the Agreement referenced above
shall be amended to update the project completion date in Exhibit A. Except as
expressly amended below, all other terms and conditions of the Agreement are still in
full force and effect.
EXHIBIT A, Input Documents and Files, Paragraph 2, Deliverables, Subsection b,
Page 12, which reads:
2. Deliverables
The beginning date for ,work under this Agreement is March 29, 2012, and the
estimated end date is September 30, 2013, or upon completion of the work.
Shall be deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following:

estimated end date is June 30, 2014, or upon completion of the work.
This Amendment may be executed in several counterparts (facsimile or otherwise) all of
which when taken together shall constitute one agreement binding on all Parties,
notwithstanding that all Parties are not signatories to the same counterpart. Each copy
of this Amendment so executed shall constitute an original.
THE PARTIES, by execution of this Agreement, hereby acknowledge that their signing
representatives have read this Agreement, understand it, and agree to be bound by its
terms and conditions.
