PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: Consideration of Resolution #2013-121. It has been determined that the staffing requirements for the Communicable Disease program will be better served by .70 FTE Public Health Nurse I instead of a .60 FTE Public Health Nurse II. Whereas this results in an increase of .10 FTE, the total personnel costs will be reduced by nearly $12,000. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: A transfer of appropriation, in the amount of $11 ,913 from the Personnel Category to Contingency is necessary. RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED: Approval and signature of Resolution #2013-121. Through an examination of clinical needs, it was determined a PHN I was the most effective way to increase revenue, decrease costs and provide support to our Nurse Practitioners.
