PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: Consideration of Resolution #2014-022. The Behavioral Health Department was awarded additional grant funding in the amount of $154,517. This award will be used to fund three positions: a Behavioral Health Specialist I (1.00 FTE), a Behavioral Health Specialist II (l.00 FTE) and a Peer Specialist (1.00 FTE). These positions will enhance services for the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: The County will receive an additional $154,517 from the State of Oregon. This funding will provide additional resources not included in the FY 2014 Adopted Budget. RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED: Approval and signature of Resolution #2014-022. These funds are to be used to hire 3.0 fte to adminster and enchance program services and for materials and services related to the program. Attached you will find a supplemental budget request adding fte and increasing our materials and services budget according to the grant requirements. Tom Anderson approved the addition of the fte on 1/30/14 These positions will be filled no earlier than March 1 for health benefits trust purposes. Teri, please add these fte to our FY 15 payroll budget. Please let me know if you need additonal information or have any questions.
