TITLE OF AGENDA ITEM:
Consideration and signature of Resolution #2014-024, transfer of appropriation in the OHP -Mental
Health Services Fund.
PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO
BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
Consideration of Resolution #2014-024. The Sisters School-based Health Clinic requires additional
funds for completion. To partially fill this need, the Board has authorized a transfer of funds from the
OHP Mental Health Services Fund. This was not anticipated at the time the FY 2014 budget was
adopted.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
A transfer of appropriation from Contingency to Transfers Out -Fund 464 in the OHP -Mental Health
Services Fund is necessary.
RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval and signature of Resolution #2014-024.

A Resolution Transferring Appropriations *
Within the Various Funds of the 2013-2014 RESOLUTION NO. 2014-024 *
Deschutes County Budget and Directing Entries *
WHEREAS, attached is a request from the Property & Facilities Director requesting a transfer
of appropriations, and
WHEREAS it is necessary to transfer appropriations within the Deschutes County Budget to
accommodate the request; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That the following transfers of appropriations be made:
FROM: 270-2200-501.97-01 Deschutes County OHP Mental Health Services,
Contingency $ 50,000
TO: 270-2200-491.96-10 Deschutes County OHP Mental Health Services,
Transfers Out, Miscellaneous $ 50,000
Section 2. That the Finance Director make the appropriate entries in the Deschutes County
Budget document to show the above appropriations.

A transfer of appropriation is required for the following reason and will be used for the following purpose:
Additional funds are necessary for completing the construction of the Sisters School-based Health Clinic. Behavioral Health
ABHA funds will be transferred to partially fill this gap. Additional appropriation is necessary to make the cash transfer.
