TITLE OF AGENDA ITEM:
Consideration and signature of Resolution #2014-033, transfer of appropriation within the
Non-Departmental category of the General Fund.
PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO
BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
Consideration of Resolution #2014-033. A transfer of appropriation within the Non-Departmental
categories of the General Fund are necessary due to the following: 1.) The annual dues for AOC will be
more than the amount budgeted. Dues were also paid to Eastern Oregon Counties, which had not been
included in the FY 2014 budget 2.) Grants were awarded which were not anticipated at the time the FY
2014 budget was adopted 3.) Property Taxes on the day care facility were not included in the FY 2014
budget 5.) Expenditures for electricity at the Deschutes Historical Society are trending in excess of the
amount budgeted.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
A transfer of appropriation from the Contingency to Materials & Services for $41,650 is required.
RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval and signature of Resolution #2014-033.

Deschutes County Budget and Directing Entries *
WHEREAS, attached is an e-mail requesting a transfer of appropriations, and
WHEREAS it is necessary to transfer appropriations within the Deschutes County Budget to
accommodate the request; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
