PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: Consideration of Resolution #2014-083. The Personnel category in the Solid Waste Fund will be increased by $28,268 due to the addition of a Landfill Site Attendant (0.50 FTE). This position will provide additional necessary coverage for employees who are on leave. This need has become less seasonal and more consistent throughout the year, and therefore was not anticipated when the FY 2014 original budget was adopted. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: A transfer of appropriation from Contingency to Personnel for $28,268 is necessary. RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED: Approval and signature of Resolution #2014-083. Erik has approved it, and Teri has provided the cost estimate and the appropriations transfer that needs to be made (attached). This need has become less seasonal and more consistent throughout the year. Erik Kropp approved the addition of the position for this purpose on 4/24/2014.
