Consideration and signature of Resolution #2014-109, appropriating a new grant in the Public Health I 1 Fund. PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: I Consideration of Resolution #2014-109. The Public Health Department was awarded an 18 month grant I in the amount of$42,016. Resources from this award will be used to promote high risk drinking prevention across the region. I I ~ FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: The County will receive an additional $42,016. This funding will provide additional resources not included in the FY 2015 Adopted Budget. RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED: Approval and signature of Resolution #2014-109. That the following grants be budgeted: Revenue 259-0000-335.11-00 State Grant $ 42.016 TOTAL REVENUE: $ 42,016 Section 2. These funds are to be used to promote prevention of high risk drinking through a series of trainings. The .20 Health Educator II will act as a grant coordinator.
