PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: Consideration of Resolution #2014-130. Due to a reassignment of departmental responsibilities, it was determined that a Behavioral Health Specialist II position (1.00 FTE) budgeted in Public Health (Fund 259) should be reallocated to Behavioral Health (Fund 275). A transfer of appropriation within the Personnel category of each fund is required. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: A transfer of appropriation within the Public Health and Behavioral Funds Personnel category is necessary. RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED: Approval and signature of Resolution #2014-130. Historically, these positions were added to Fund 259 with a transfer from Fund 275 -Mental Health to cover the cost of the positions. This model was set up in FY 10 and is no longer applicable. These appropriation transfers will add these two .50 BHS II fte in Fund 275 and and remove them from Fund 259, eliminating the need for a quarterly transfer between Funds. These BHS II authorizations numbers are #3 and #4 in Fund 259. Teri -please use project code MCCL for these positions in Fund 275.
