Before the Board was Consideration of Board Signature of Order No. 2014-036, Whether to Hear an Appeal of the Hearings Officer’s Decision on a Zero Lot Line Subdivision (Arrowood). Paul Blikstad provided an overview of the Order. Some residents have appealed the application and Hearings Officer’s decision; and there has been a request for reconsideration from the applicant. The appeal happens next, which decides what standards apply. The original master plan standards were set in 1983. Staff feels the resort community zone does apply, and allowed this project. The testimony was not so much against this project, but similar development in other parts of Widgi Creek. The Hearings Officer approved this, and staff feels the decision was comprehensive and complete.
