Marty -----Original Message---- From: Robert Poirier Sent: Wednesday, November 16, 2011 9:54 AM To: Marty Wynne Cc: Jeanine Faria Subject: FW: Appropriation Transfer In preparation of the FY 2011-12 budget I placed an additional $30,000 in the line item for debt service hoping to use some surplus revenue to pay down some additional debt on the building. I ultimately learned that the debt service payments could only be paid according to schedule and that the District would be better off transferring the funds back into its contingency fund. At this time I would like to request that we transfer the amount of $30,000 from fund 705 7500-429.79-42 (payment to Deschutes County) to fund 705-7500-501.97-01 (contengency) please see spreadsheet attached. I would further request that the finance department prepare the budget resolution and agenda request. Thank you for your assistance! Rob -----Original Message---- From: Jeanine Faria Sent: Wednesday, November 16, 2011 9:11 AM To: Robert Poirier Subject: Appropriation Transfer In order to have a better year to year comparison of the budgets (FY 2012 with FY 2013), it is a good idea to transfer t'he $30,000 appropriation, which was to be used for an additional payment to the County, back to the Contingency. I've attached an Excel file showing the details of this transfer. Please review and amend as necessary. 1 Then, please send an email to Marty Wynne (attach the Excel file), asking Finance to prepare a resolution for the appropriation transfer. Contact me with any questions.
