MINUTES OF BUSINESS MEETING
DESCHUTES COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 1,2012
Commissioners' Hearing Room -Administration Building -1300 NW Wall St., Bend
Present were Commissioners Anthony DeBone and Alan Unger; Commissioner
Tammy Baney was not available. Also present were Chris Doty and George Kolb,
Road Department; Dave Inbody and David Givans, Administration; and two other
citizens.
Chair DeBone opened the meeting at 10:00 a.m.

None was offered.
3. Before the Board was Consideration of Signature of Order No. 2012-001,
Vacating a Portion of Knickerbocker Avenue (Terrebonne).
George Kolb gave a brief history of the issue. Central Electric Cooperative has
agreed to the conditions of the easement, after working with local property
owners. All others involved are okay with this action.
Chair DeBone closed the hearing at this time.

4. Before the Board was Consideration of Signature of Document No. 2011
574, a Contract with Bend Oil Company to Provide Fuel Purchasing
Services through Carlock Facilities.
Dave Inbody explained this is an extension of an existing contract from several
years ago. Prior to that time, there were some challenges discovered through an
audit process and there were no guidelines as to pricing, etc. The cost will now
be a little over wholesale, and each department will pay the same rate. The
system seems to be working well overall. The agreement is good through the
end of this calendar year, at which time it will need to be extended or rewritten
as appropriate.

Payable Vouchers for the Extension/4-H County Service District in the
Amount of $1,691.83.
