Consideration and signature of Resolution #2012-005, transfer of appropriation in the Behavioral
Health Fund.

BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
Consideration of Resolution #2012-005. The Behavioral Health Department will increase the Personnel
Category by $20,798. Effective March 1, 2012, the Behavioral Health Department will increase
Personnel by .50 FTE. This additional FTE will be used to increase two part-time positions. This
change was not anticipated at the time of the FY 2012 budget.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
A transfer of appropriation from Contingency to Personnel for $20,798 is required.
RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval and signature of Resolution #2012-005.

WHEREAS, attached is a request from the Behavioral Health Department requesting a transfer
of appropriations, and
WHEREAS it is necessary to transfer appropriations within the Deschutes County Budget to
accommodate the request; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:

Attached please find an appropriation transfer request to increase fte for two current peer specialists. Alisa Anguiano
1 and Patricia Von Riedl currently are .50 fte staff, this additional fte will increase both of them to a .75 fte. Erik Kropp and

the BOC approved this request on 1/30/12. We expect this increase to occur on March 1, 2012.
