DATE: February 15,2012 FROM: Marty Wynne Finance (541) 388-6559 TITLE OF AGENDA ITEM: Consideration and signature of Resolution #2012-009, transfer of appropriations in the OHP-Chemical Dependency Fund. PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: Consideration of Resolution #2012-009. Additional resources will be available in the OHP-Chemical Dependency Fund which were not anticipated at the time the FY 2012 budget was adopted. These resources will be transferred to the Behavioral Health Fund (275) to hire a Public Health Nurse II, an Administrative Analyst, a Clinical Supervisor and a Division Director. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: A transfer of appropriation from Contingency to Transfers Out for $124,675 is required. RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED: Approval and signature of Resolution #2012-009. REVIEWED LEGAL COUNSEL BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON A Resolution Transferring Appropriations * Within the Various Funds of the 2011-2012 * RESOLUTION NO. 2012-009 Deschutes County Budget and Directing Entries * WHEREAS, attached is a request from the Behavioral Health Department requesting a transfer of appropriations, and WHEREAS it is necessary to transfer appropriations within the Deschutes County Budget to accommodate the request; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows: Section 1. Transfers in to Fund 275 are increasing to allow for the hiring of staff to provide OHP client services.
