PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: Consideration of Resolution #2012-022, transfer of appropriation in the Deschutes County Behavioral Health Fund, to reduce the Personnel Category by $31,346 (.50 FTE). Due to budget constraints, the Behavioral Health Department will eliminate a Mental Health Specialist I position. This FTE will not be appropriated in FY 20l3. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: A transfer of appropriation from Personnel to Contingency for $31,346 is required. RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED: Approval and signature of Resolution #2012-022. Our Developmental Disabilities program is requesting removal of this fte effective Jan. 1, 2012 as the position is not sustainable in future years.
