TITLE OF AGENDA ITEM:
Consideration and signature of Resolution #2012-030, transfer of appropriation in the Deschutes
County RV Park Fund.
PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO
BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
Consideration of Resolution #2012-030. Additional appropriation for the cost of staffing and
maintaining the RV Park will exceed what was originally anticipated in the FY 2012 budget and
additional appropriation is required for promotion of the facility. Utility payments for electricity and
natural gas are projected to exceed the amount budgeted. Additional Materials & Services appropriation
is required.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
A transfer of appropriation from Contingency to Materials & Services for $24,000 is required.
RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval and signature of Resolution #2012-030

A Resolution Transferring Appropriations *
Within the Various Funds of the 2011-2012 RESOLUTION NO. 2012-030 *
Deschutes County Budget and Directing Entries *
WHEREAS, attached is an e-mail from the Fair & Expo Director requesting a transfer of
appropriations, and
WHEREAS it is necessary to transfer appropriations within the Deschutes County Budget to
accommodate the request; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That the following transfers of appropriations be made:
FROM: 601-1000-501.97-01 Deschutes County RV Park Fund,
Contingency $ 24,000
TO: 601-1000-452.34-20 Deschutes County RV Park Fund,
Temporary Help $ 10,000
TO: 601-1000-452.54-50 Deschutes County RV Park Fund,
Promotion $ 6,000
TO: 601-1000-452.62-10 Deschutes County RV Park Fund,
Electricity $ 6,000
TO: 601-1000-452.62-40 Deschutes County RV Park Fund,
Natural Gas $ 2,000
