PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: Consideration of Resolution #2012-031. The Sheriffs Office had to purchase replacement mobile data terminals for patrol vehicles that were not planned and the FCC narrowed its banding requirement that required the purchase of replacement radios. These expenditures were not anticipated at the time of the FY 2012 original budget and a transfer from Contingency is required. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: A transfer of appropriation from Contingency to Materials & Services for $75,000 is necessary. RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED: Approval and signature of Resolution #2012-031.
