BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
Consideration of Resolution #2012-033. The Behavioral Health Department will increase the
appropriation in the Personnel Category by $14,290. The Behavioral Health Department has a need to
increase a .80 FTE Mental Health Specialist II position to a 1.0 FTE in the Seniors Program.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
A transfer of appropriation from Contingency to Personnel for $14,290 is required.
RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval and signature of Resolution #2012-033.

WHEREAS, attached is a request from the Behavioral Health Department requesting a transfer
of appropriations, and
WHEREAS it is necessary to transfer appropriations within the Deschutes County Budget to
accommodate the request; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:

Attached, please find an appropriation transfer increasing MHS II, authorization #6, from a .80 fte to a 1.0 fte in our
Seniors Program. This position will be unfilled soon and we would like to post it as a full time position. Erik Kropp
approved this increase today, April 4, 2012.

Health Services Behavioral Health Division, is requesting to add .20 fte Mental Health Specialist II to authorization #6.
MHS II authorization #6 is currently a .80 fte, we want to increase the fte and post the position as a 1.0 fte.
Erik Kropp approved this request on 4/4/12.
This additional fte will be added effective June 2012.
