TITLE OF AGENDA ITEM:
Consideration and signature of Resolution #2012-035, transfer of appropriation within the Foreclosed
Land Sales Fund.

BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
Consideration of Resolution #2012-035. Expenditures for the Foreclosed Land Sales Fund will be in
excess of what was originally budgeted in the Materials & Services Category. Costs associated with
maintaining property, acquired through the foreclosure process, have been higher than anticipated.
Additional Materials & Services appropriation will be transferred from Contingency.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
A transfer of appropriation from Contingency to Materials & Service for $21,000 is necessary.
RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval and signature of Resolution #2012-035.

WHEREAS, attached is an e-mail requesting a transfer of appropriations, and
WHEREAS it is necessary to transfer appropriations within the Deschutes County Budget to
accommodate the request; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That the following transfers of appropriations be made:
FROM: 205-1000-501.97 -01 Deschutes County Foreclosed Land
Sales, Contingency $ 21,000
TO: 205-1000-419.33-55 Deschutes County Foreclosed Land
Sales, Engineering $ 5,000
TO: 205-1000-419.34-43 Deschutes County Foreclosed Land
Sales, Surveying $ 2,000
TO: 205-1000-419.43-20 Deschutes County Foreclosed Land
Sales, Building/Grounds R&M $ 6,000
TO: 205-1000-419.51-10 Deschutes County Foreclosed Land
Sales, Fees & Permits $ 8,000
