A transfer of appropriation is required for the following reason and will be used for the following purpose:
The Assessor's Office has closely monitored staff resources and workload over the past several years. It has been
identified that the office is over-staffed in customer service support and under-staffed in assessment technical
support. The result is a restructure of the assessment support staff for the upcoming year, reducing one Customer
Service Clerk II position and increasing one Assessment Tech II to full-time upon the retirement of the part-time
Assessment Tech II this summer
