DATE: July 17,2012 FROM: Marty Wynne Finance (541) 388-6559 TITLE OF AGENDA ITEM: Consideration and signature of Resolution #2012-099, transfer of appropriation in the Natural Resource Protection Fund. PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: Consideration of Resolution #2012-099. The FY 2013 budget included appropriation for two full-time Forester positions. A reduction in Personnel Services appropriation is requested due to the decrease in staffing from 2.00 FTE to 1.00 FTE. Adjustments also include an addition of On-Call hours for training and support of the new Forester, and a difference in salary budgeted at Step 2 with actual salary starting at Step 3. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: A transfer of appropriation from Personnel to Contingency and Personnel for $100,497 is necessary.
