PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: Consideration of Resolution #2012-106. Effective August 1,2012, the Behavioral Health Department will no longer contract with the Accountable Behavioral Health Alliance (ABHA) for utilization review services and will instead hire a Utilization Review Specialist position (1.00 FTE). This change was not anticipated at the time the FY 2013 budget was adopted. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: A transfer of appropriation from Contingency to Personnel for $82,374 is required. RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED: Approval and signature of Resolution #2012-106.
