PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: Consideration of Resolution #2012-123. The Assessor's Office will increase the Personnel Category by $26,525. Due to current legislative changes, an increased workload in the personal property division of the Assessor's Office has occurred. A personal property analyst will be increased by .25 FTE to 1.00 FTE. This change was not anticipated at the time of the FY 2013 budget. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: A transfer of appropriation from Contingency to Personnel for $26,525 is necessary. RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED: Approval and signature of Resolution #2012-123. The additional .25 FTE is needed because the workload increased due to a legislative change last session which calls for a change in how Machinery & Equipment are appraised and placed on the tax roll and the large increases in size of the various Enterprise Zones. Approval by email from the Interim County Administrator was received on October 3,2012 with information indicating the Board of County Commissioners had been apprised of the request and agreed to the change.
