TITLE OF AGENDA ITEM:
Consideration and signature of Resolution #2012-130, transfer of appropriation in the Deschutes
County Behavioral Health Fund.

BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
Consideration of Resolution #2012-130. The Behavioral Health Department has the need for on-call
personnel services for its Crisis Program and therefore needs additional appropriation in the Personnel
category. This need was not anticipated that the time of the FY 2013 budget.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
A transfer of appropriation from Contingency to Personnel for $14,833 is required.
RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval and signature of Resolution #2012-130.

Within the Various Funds of the 2012-2013 RESOLUTION NO. 2012-130 *
Deschutes County Budget and Directing Entries *
WHEREAS, attached is a document from the Behavioral Health Department requesting a
transfer of appropriations, and
WHEREAS it is necessary to transfer appropriations within the Deschutes County Budget to
accommodate the request; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That the following transfers of appropriations be made:

Attached please find an appropriation transfer request for our Crisis program. This transfer will increase oUf on-call
budget to allow for direct service coverage when current staff are not available.

Deschutes County Health Services -Behavioral Health is requesting the addtion of an on-call budget for our Crisis program. On call staff will be used to
provide coverage for current staff when out of the office.
