Consideration and signature of Resolution #2011-044, transfer of appropriations in the Solid Waste
Fund.
PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO
BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
Consideration of Resolution #201 1-044. 'IT7ere is an immediate need to expend resources for trailer bay
safety covers to protect the public as well as Solid Waste employees. This was not anticipated at the
time of the FY 2011 budget adoption.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
A transfer of appropriation from Contingency to Capital Outlay for 530,000 is necessary.
RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval and signature of Resolution #2011-044.

WHEREAS. attached is an e-mail from the Solid Waste Department requesting a transfer of
appropriations. and
WHEREAS it is necessary to transfer appropriations ywithin the Deschutes County Budget to
accommodate the request; now therefore.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCIIU IES
COUNTY. OREGON. as follows:
Section 1. That the following transfers of appropriations he made:
