TITLE OF AGENDA ITEM:
Consideration and signature of Resolution #2011-091, transfer of appropriation from the General Fund
to the OSP Building Fund.
PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO
BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
Consideration of Resolution #2011-091. Additional appropriation is required to close the OSP Building
Fund. Resources remaining in the Fund will be transferred to the Justice Building/Courthouse Capital
Project Fund.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
A transfer of appropriation from the General Fund Non -Departmental Contingency to the OSP
Building Fund for $580,138 is required.
RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval and signature of Resolution #2011-091.

A Resolution Transferring Appropriations
Within the Various Funds of the 2010-2011 * RESOLUTION NO. 2011-091
Deschutes County Budget and Directing Entries *
WHEREAS, attached is an e-mail requesting a transfer of appropriations, and
WHEREAS it is necessary to transfer appropriations within the Deschutes County Budget to
accommodate the request; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That the following transfers of appropriations be made:
FROM: 001-4500-501.97-01 Deschutes County Non -Departmental.
Contingency $ 580,138
FROM: 458-0800-491.96-78 Deschutes County OSP Building Fund.
Transfers Out, FF&C 2008A (538) $ 216,482
TO: 458-0800-491.96-89 Deschutes County OSP Building Fund.
Transfers Out, Capital Project Fund (463) $ 796.620

Section 2. That the Finance Director make the appropriate entries in the Deschutes County
Budget document to show the above appropriations.

Marty, attached are several appropriation transfers that will be necessary to make sure we have
enough authority to spend to the end of this fiscal year, to close out and transfer funds out of
construction funds, and to facilitate the purchase of the Redmond building. Please let me know if you
