TITLE OF AGENDA ITEM:
Consideration and signature of Resolution #2011-111, transfer of appropriations in the Behavioral
Health Fund.

BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
Consideration of Resolution #2011-111. Appropriation in the Personnel Category needs to be reduced,
along with .60 FTE, due to a reduction in State funding of the Temporary Assistance to Needy Families
(TANF) client program.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
A transfer of appropriation from Personnel to Contingency for $49,489 is required.
RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval and signature of Resolution #2011-111.

WHEREAS, attached is a request from the Behavioral Health Department requesting a transfer
of appropriations, and
WHEREAS it is necessary to transfer appropriations within the Deschutes County Budget to
accommodate the request; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That the following transfers of appropriations be made:

Attached please find an appropriation transfer request to remove a .60 MHS II fte due to the elimination of funding from
a State grant for behavioral health screenings for DHS TANF clients.
This FTE was vacated July 1, 2011.
