PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: Consideration ofResolution #2011-115. Additional resources will be available in the OHP-Chemical Dependency Fund which were not anticipated at the time the FY 2012 budget was adopted. These resources will be used to perform health instruction on the subject of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs related to adolescent risk behaviors. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: A transfer of appropriation from Contingency to Materials & Service for $25,000 is required. RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED: Approval and signature of Resolution #2011-115. This request is for a $20,000 grant to Commission on Families and Children for alcohol and drug prevention and to purchase transportation for our OHP clients enrolled in our Summer Blast program. Judi and Loretta, It has not been determined whether this transfer to CFC will occur via an AP voucher or a quarterly journal. I will let you know when I learn the details.
