PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: Consideration ofResolution #2011-131. The Public Health Department was awarded additional grant funding, in the amount of $15,880, to be used to assist in a Portland State University assessment of the My Future My Choice program. Resources will be used to increase a Health Educator I position by .20 FTE. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: The new $15,880 State grant will be appropriated for Personnel and Contingency. Outcomes will be measured by implementing pre-Iests and post-test in ten of our schools located in three school districts. This FTE will be added to a .30 HE I fte that was submitted with our PREP budget resolution. FTE will be hired in November 2011. This fte will be added to a .30 fte submitted in a budget resolution on 8/5/11 for our PREP grant. Please note that the appropriation transfer lists project HFP.
