BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
Consideration of Resolution 112010-106 lranslerring appropriations within the Public I Iealth Fund. 'he
Public l Icalth Department added a Health 1?ducator 11 position (.50 1JF) in FY 2010. This position is
grant funded throuLth the LAUNCI I program until September 2014. Due to the timing of the grant
award, it was not possible to include this position in the FY 201 1 original budget.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
A iransler of appropriation from Contingency to Personnel in the amount of $35,971 is required.
RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval and signature oC Resolution /12010-106.

Attached is a correction to the appropriation transfer submitted to you originally on
7/20/10 for a .5 Hi'. Program Development Specialist. Personnel recommended to the
Program Manager that the position requested is better suited 'as a l lealth 1',ducator 11 for
the Launch program. This appropriation is to correct and replace the original request.
Appropriation is scheduled for the Board, August 25th, 2010. Request is to add a .5 HT:

position for the Launch program and vvti11 be funded through September 30, 2014.
