Consideration and signature of Resolution //2010-108, translcr of appropriations in the Accountable
Behavioral Health Alliance (ABI IA) Fund.

BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
Consideration 01 Resolution //2010-108 transferring appropriations within the ABI IA Fund. Additi( tial
resources will be available in the AI3I IA Fund which were not anticipated at the time the FY 201 1
budget was adopted. "These resources need to he transferred to the Behavioral health Fund (275), w lcre
they will he used to Fund lour Mental Health Specialist 1 positions.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
A transfer of appropriation from Contingency to Materials & Service in the amount 01$250.311 is
required to authorize the expenditure of these additional resources.
RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval and signature of Resolution //2010-108.

Attached please find a worksheet including four tabs, two appropriation transfer regiests
and two supplemental budget requests. Our behavioral health division is receiving
additional revenues to provide intensive children's treatment services for our OHP
population. In order to provide these services, we will hire four MHSI's in Fund 27!.
Scott and I met with Dave Kanner on July 14, 2010 to discuss this process and receivEd
verbal approval to add the fte.
