PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: Consideration of Resolution #2010-122, transfer of appropriation in the Deschutes County Community Justice Juvenile Fund. The Juvenile Department will decrease the Personnel Category by $20,358. Currently, a Community Justice Specialist (1.00 FTE) is allocated 50/50 between Juvenile & Adult Parole & Probation. Effective October 1, 2010 the position will be reduced to .75 FTE and allocated 100% to Adult Parole & Probation. This resolution authorizes a reduction of FTE in Juvenile from .50 FTE to .25 FTE. This change was not anticipated at the time of the FY 2011 budget. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: A transfer of appropriation from Personnel to Contingency for $20,358 is required.
