PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: Consideration of Resolution #2010-139. The Behavioral Health Department needs to increase personnel by 1.00 FTE. A Mental Health Specialist I (1.00 FTE) will be hired to provide services to clients under a new Adult Mental Health Initiative program that will focus on serving the needs of the highest level of seriously mental ill adults. This position was not anticipated during the FY 2011 budget. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: A transfer of appropriation from Contingency to Personnel in the amount of $62,578 is required. RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED: Approval and signature of Resolution #2010-139.
