BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON
An Order Assigning the Name of River
Summit Drive to an Unnamed Access Road, * ORDER NO. 2009-004
WHEREAS, Deschutes County applied to assign a road name pursuant to Deschutes Count is
Code, Title 16, Uniform House Numbering and Road Naming System, to assign the name of Ri 'er
Summit Drive to an unnamed access road, located in Townships 18, 19, & 20 South, Ranges 9, & 10
East; WIMP.; and
WHEREAS, the Deschutes County Community Development Department reviewed the propor;ed
name and approved it pursuant to DCC Chapter 16.16; and
WHEREAS, all public notices required to be given under DCC 16.16.030(B) regarding the
proposed name have been given; and
WHEREAS, the appeal period for appealing the Community Development Department's approval
expired; and
WHEREAS, DCC 16.16.030(1) requires that road names be assigned by order of the Boar(.' of
County Commissioners; now, therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON,
ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. That the name of River Summit Drive be assigned to an unnamed access road, as
set forth in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein.

Section 2. That the Community Development Department take such further steps as
are required to ensure that the road is so identified for all purposes.
