PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: Consideration of Resolution #2009 -009, appropriating a new grant for the Deschutes County Mentl..1 Health Department. The Mental Health Department will receive additional funding from the State i,1 order to increase a Mental Health Specialist I postion to a 1.00 FTE from a .80 FTE (an increase of .20 FTE). Resources from this award will also be used to fund the newly created Community Developmental Disabilities Program. This program will allow the Mental Health Department to pr( vide more developmental disability services to the community. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: This of appropriation additional grant resources authorizes an additional $73,743 to be expended it FY 2009.
