Consideration and signature of Resolution #2009 -010, transfer of appropriation in the Deschutes
County Sheriffs Office Fund.

BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
Consideration of Resolution #2009 -010, transfer of appropriation in the Deschutes County Sheriff,
Office Fund. The Sheriffs Office needs to replace a high mileage vehicle that is currently being used
for Search and Rescue missions. A used Chevy Tahoe with low mileage will be purchased and used in
its place. The cost of this vehicle will be partially reimbursed (80 %) from Title III funds.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
A transfer of appropriation from Contingency to Capital Outlay in the amount of $12,000 is necessary.
RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval and signature of Resolution #2009 -010.

Within the Various Funds of the 2008 -2009 * RESOLUTION NO. 2009 -010
Deschutes County Budget and Directing Entries *
WHEREAS, attached is a request from the Sheriff's Office requesting a transfer of
appropriations, and
WHEREAS it is necessary to transfer appropriations within the Deschutes County Budget to
accommodate the request; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1.

TO: 255 -4100- 421.94 -22
That the following transfers of appropriations be made:
Deschutes County Sheriff's Office,
Non - Departmental, Contingency $12,000
Deschutes County Sheriff's Office,
Automobiles & SUVs $12,000
Section 2. That the Finance Director make the appropriate entries in the Deschutes County
Budget document to show the above appropriations.
