Consideration and signature of Resolution #2009 -050, transfer of appropriation within the Commission
on Children & Families Fund.

BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
Consideration of Resolution #2009 -050 transferring appropriation within the Commission on Children
& Families Fund. Additional resources made available through Court Fines and Fees require a transfer
of appropration to allow for expenditures not anticipated at the time of the FY 2009 budget.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
A transfer of appropriation from Contingency to Materials & Service in the amount of $114,266 is
required.
RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval and signature of Resolution #2009 -050.

Within the Various Funds of the 2008 -2009 * RESOLUTION NO. 2009-050
Deschutes County Budget and Directing Entries *
WHEREAS, attached is an e-mail from the Commission on Children & Families requesting a
transfer of appropriations, and.
WHEREAS it is necessary to transfer appropriations within the Deschutes County Budget 10
accommodate the request; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTF S
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That the following transfers of appropriations be made:
FROM: 220 - 1500 - 501.97 -01 Deschutes County Commission on Children
and Families, Contingency $114,266
TO: 220- 1500 - 444.59 -03 Deschutes County Commission on Children
and Families, Local Grants $1.14,266
Section 2. That the Finance Director make the appropriate entries in the Deschutes Courty
Budget document to show the above appropriations.
