PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? No BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: The purpose of this deed is to correct an error discovered by the cartography group. Deschutes County toot title to real property (Lots 1 - 18, Hillman) in 1922 for nonpayment of property taxes. Over the years, most of the property was conveyed to others. During a right -of -way acquisition program, they Oregon Department of Transportation discovered that Deschutes County still owns Lots 9 and 13. County records showed ownership by others.
