Consideration and signature of Resolution #2009 -064, appropriating a new grant in the Deschutes
County Mental Health Department.

BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
Consideration of Resolution #2009 -064 appropriating a new grant for the Deschutes County Mental
Health Department. The Mental Health Department was awarded additional funding in the amount )f
$45,092. This resource will be used for local administration of services at the Hosmer House, which
provides non - residential mental health services for adults.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
The County will receive an additional $45,092 from the Oregon Department of Human Services as part
of an amendment to the Intergovernmental Agreement. This funding will provide additional resour +;es
not included in the FY 2009 Adopted Budget.
RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval and signature of Resolution #2009 -064.

to the Deschutes County 2008 -2009 Budget

RESOLUTION NO. 2009 -064
WHEREAS, Deschutes County Mental Health Department will receive new State grant
revenue totaling $45,092; and
WHEREAS, these new grant funds need to be appropriated; and
WHEREAS, ORS 294.326(2) allows the appropriation and expenditures of new grant funds
designated to specific purposes; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTIS
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That the following grants be budgeted:

Agreement with the Oregon Department of Human Services, Deschutes County document #

House.
