TITLE OF AGENDA ITEM:
Consideration and signature of Resolution #2009 -113, transfer of appropriation in the Acute Care
Services Fund.

BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
Consideration of Resolution #2009 -113 transferring appropriation within the Acute Care Services Fund.
Additional resources have been identified and are available to transfer to Fund 275, Deschutes County
Mental Health. These resources were not anticipated at the time of the FY 2010 budget.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
A transfer of appropriation from Contingency to Transfers Out in the amount of $107,493 is required.
RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval and signature of Resolution #2009 -113.

Within the Various Funds of the 2009 -2010 * RESOLUTION NO. 2009 -113
Deschutes County Budget and Directing Entries *
WHEREAS, attached is a request from the Mental Health Department requesting a transfer of
appropriations, and.
WHEREAS it is necessary to transfer appropriations within the Deschutes County Budget :o
accommodate the request; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTIS
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That the following transfers of appropriations be made:
FROM: 276 - 2200 - 501.97 -01 Deschutes County Acute Care Services,

TO: 276- 2200 - 491.96 -12 Deschutes County Acute Care Services,

Section 2. That the Finance Director make the appropriate entries in the Deschutes County

Attached please find an appropriation transfer request. Additional funding has been
identified for Acute Care as a transfer into Fund 275 - Mental Health. This amount was
unknown during our FY 09 -10 budgeting process.
