This is the time provided for individuals wishing to address the Board, at the Board's
discretion, regarding issues that are not already on the agenda. Citizens who wish to speak
should sign up prior to the beginning of the meeting on the sign -up cards provided. Please
use the microphone and also state your name and address at the time the Board calls on you
to speak. PLEASE NOTE: Citizen input regarding matters that are or have been the subject
of a public hearing will NOT be included in the record of that hearing.

Appointments to the Board of Property Tax Appeals — Nancy Blankenship,

3. CONSIDERATION of Vice Chair Signature of an Intent to Award Contract
Letter for an Employment Firm to Provide Temporary Workers for the Road
Department — Dennis Morris and /or Tom Blust, Road Department
4. CONSIDERATION of Signature of Document No. 2009 -590, the 2009 Fund
Exchange Agreement Detailing the Responsibilities of ODOT and Deschutes
County regarding the Exchange of STP Funds for State Funds — George Kolb,
Road Department
5. CONSIDERATION of Approval of County Administrator Signature of
Document No. 2009 -589, an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Oregon
Office of Emergency Management regarding Firefree and Defensible Space

• Cat Rescue, Adoption & Foster Team — Commissioner Baney, $500;
Commissioners Luke and Unger, $300 each.
• Leadership Redmond — $200 from each Commissioner.
• Leadership Bend — $200 from each Commissioner.
• Deschutes Water Alliance — $500 each from Commissioners Luke and
Baney; $3,650 from Commissioner Unger.
