Consideration and signature of Resolution #2009 -125, transfer of appropriations in the Behavioral
Health Fund.

BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
Consideration of Resolution #2009 -125 transferring appropriations within the Behavioral Health Fu rid.
The Behavioral Health Department will increase one of the .50 FTE Mental Health Specialist II
positions at the Kids Center to a 1.00 FTE.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
A transfer of appropriation from Contingency to Personnel in the amount of $34,226 is required.
RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval and signature of Resolution #2009 -125.

WHEREAS, attached is a request from the Behavioral Health Department requesting a transfer
of appropriations, and
WHEREAS it is necessary to transfer appropriations within the Deschutes County Budget :o
accommodate the request; now therefore,

Attached please find an appropriation transfer requesting an increase of .50
FTE to our current Behavioral Health budget. Per approval from Dave Kanner on September
28, 2009, he has given us permission to permanently increase our MHS II, position #35, at
the KIDS Center.
Please let me know if you have any questions or need any additional documentation.
