PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? No. BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: Tumalo Road and Deschutes Market Road are being realigned, and this portion of Tumalo Road will no longer be a portion of Tumalo Road, and therefore requires a new name. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: None. RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED: Approval and signature. ATTENDANCE: Consent agenda, please. REVIEWED LEGAL COUNSEL For Recording Stamp Only BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON An Order Changing the Name of a Portion of Tumalo Road to Graystone Lane. * ORDER NO. 2009-068 WHEREAS, Deschutes County applied to change the name of a road pursuant to Deschutes County's Code, Title 16, Uniform House Numbering and Road Naming System, to change the name of a portion of Tumalo Road to Graystone Lane, located in Township 16 South, Range 12 East, Section :26; W.M.; and WHEREAS, the Deschutes County Community Development Department reviewed the proposed name change and approved it pursuant to DCC Chapter 16.16; and WHEREAS, all public notices required to be given under DCC 16.16.030(B) regarding the proposed name change have been given; and WHEREAS, the appeal period for appealing the Community Development Department's approval expired; and WHEREAS, DCC 16.16.030(I) requires that road name changes be assigned by order of the Board of County Commissioners; now, therefore, THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGO ORDERS as follows: Section 1.
