Subject: Solid Waste Cash Change Fund
Marty:
The Department of Solid Waste currently has a $2,200.00 cash change fund for operation of
Knott landfill, Negus Transfer Station, Northwest Transfer Station, Southwest Transfer
Station, and Alfalfa Transfer Station and the business office in Bend. Our tip fee
structure changed with the increase in tip fees implemented November 1, which changed our
till needs. We are requesting an additional $500 for the change fund for a total of
$2,700.00.
I understand the Board of Commissioners will need to pass a resolution to authorize this.
Let me know how you would like to proceed.
