PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? No BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is conducting surveys to determine potential impact of the proposed alignment for their Wickiup Junction project, as required by the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA). ODOT completed the first phase of surveys last year. ODOT requests permission to enter various county -owned parcels to do the second phase of field work. The work involves environmental specialists conducting surveys for sensitive plant species and wetlands as well as conducting a noise monitoring survey. No ground disturbing activities will occur in this phase. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: None. RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED: Staff recommends signature by the County Administrator.
