DATE: July 22, 2008 FROM: Marty Wynne Finance (541) 388-6559 TITLE OF AGENDA ITEM: Consideration and signature of Resolution #2008-122, transfer of appropriation in the Health Benefits Trust Fund. PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: Consideration of Resolution #2008-122 transferring appropriation in the Health Benefits Trust Fund. Competitive bids for stop -loss coverage, stop -loss insurance premium expense, PPO, third -party adminstration expense, etc. are not received until after the budget has been adopted. These changes reflect required budget amounts based on the successful proposals. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: This transfer of appropriation authorizes an additional $1,606,637 to be expended in FY 2009. RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED: Approval and signature of Resolution #2008-122.
