Consideration and signature to approve Jane Hanson as a member of the Public Health Advisory Board.
PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? No.
BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
Jane Hanson, Chief Nursing Officer for Cascade Healthcare Community, has been recruited to
participate on the Public Health Advisory Board (PHAB), finishing the term of Marty Betsch, St.
Charles Medical Center and start a two year term January 1, 2009.
Using her 32 years of clinical and administrative experience in three western states, Jane wants to
not only help ensure the Cascade Healthcare Community is actively supporting the Health
Department's mission but aid in fostering a collaborative relationship between the Health
Department and St. Charles Medical Center as well.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
None.
RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval and signature to approve Jane Hanson as a member of the Public Health Advisory Board is
requested.

We are pleased to forward to you the name of Jane Hanson as a
candidate for the Public Health Community Advisory Board in a position
representing St. Charles Medical Center for two years ending
12/31/2010.
Currently serving as the Chief Nursing Officer for Cascade Healthcare
Community, Jane has been a licensed nurse for 32 years, has a broad
background in clinical and administrative practice in three western
states, and has worked in a governmental setting (Veterans
Administration) as a Quality Manager and Administrator for eight years.
Jane will represent our Department and the County with integrity.
We fully endorse the membership of Jane to the Public Health Advisory
Board.
