We appreciate that you are keenly aware of the critical necessity of the PILT program and the mitigation it provides to local government to offset the impacts of vast federal land holdings in our state . Over 75% of the land in Deschutes County is federally owned. We also appreciate your eff0l1s to engage your counterparts in helping to craft a long term funding solution to both PILT and SRS. Please keep up this good work on our behalf and do not hesitate to contact Deschutes County if we can provide assistance.
