PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: Consideration of Resolution #2009-056, transfer of appropriation in the Deschutes County Sheriff Office Fund. The need for a new F-250 crew cab pickup for use by the Special Services Department was not foreseeable at the time the FY 2009 budget was prepared. It was subsequently determined that a new pickup was needed to provide enhanced ATV -related patrol services. A portion of the cost (approximately 76%) will be reimbursed from the ATV Grant Funds provided by the State Parks and Recreation Department. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: A transfer of appropriation from Contingency to Capital Outlay in the amount of $27,000 is necessary. RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED: Approval and signature of Resolution #2009-056. FROM: 255-4500-501.97-01 TO: 255-4100-421.94-22 That the following transfers of appropriations be made: Deschutes County Sheriff's Office, Contingency $27,000 Deschutes County Sheriff's Office, Automobiles & SUV's $27,000 Section 2. The expenses are partially reimbursed (76%) from additional ATV Grant funds. The Commissioners approved the additional ATV Grant funds last week.
