PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: Consideration of Resolution #2015-019. The Deschutes County 911 County Service District requires two Public Safety System Specialists (2.00 FTE) in the system administration and maintenance area. These positions are included for April2015-June 2015. The anticipated start date is April 1,2015. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: A transfer of appropriation from Contingency Category to the Personnel Category of $49,100 is required. RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED: Approval and signature of Resolution #2015-019. Per our conversation earlier today, at this afternoon's work session, the BoCC, acting as the 9-1-1 Service District Board, approved the hiring of two new Public Safety Systems Specialists for this budget year. Our target hire date is April 1 st. When the figures are calculated for the budget amendment resolution, is it or can it be based on that projected start date? Tom -Would you please reply to this e-mail to confirm for Teri these new FTEs were approved by the Board? Thanks! These positions are intended to help relieve a significant backlog of deferred system administration and maintenance. (Two full time positions are included in this budget adjustment for April 2015 through June 2015. Anticipated hire date is April 1, 2015.)
